North Shore Scaffolding takes customer and employee health and safety seriously. We are committed to ensuring that our staff go home safe every night and that our work is always carried out in the safest possible manner.

Our scaffolders all have Site Safe Passports and are required to complete a comprehensive induction prior to commencing work with us. Our staff are issued with quality personal protective equipment and undergo regular performance appraisals to ensure their competency and further develop their skills. In addition, our crews perform pre-start safety plans, equipment and vehicle checks daily. We also perform a thorough risk analysis to determine a Site Specific Safety Plan and a Safe Work Method Statement. To further ensure the safety of both our employee’s, other contractors on site and the general public, we conduct random and targeted drug and alcohol testing on our employees to ensure their compliance.

We make use of the Aculog Scaffold Management System to inform you about the scaffold and confirm when it was last inspected and that it is still safe for use.

We are also one of the very few companies that test our planks annually using a plank testing machine to ensure that all the planks pass OSH Safety standards and can be relied upon on site.
